Average Salary Indicators Used for Pension Calculation

According to Paragraph 4 of Part 2 of Article 40 of the Law of Ukraine “On Mandatory State Pension Insurance” No. 1058-IV dated July 9, 2003, the procedure for determining the average salary (income) per insured person across Ukraine, from which insurance contributions have been paid and which, pursuant to this Law, is taken into account for pension calculation for the calendar year preceding the year of application for a pension, shall be approved by the Pension Fund of Ukraine in coordination with the central executive authorities responsible for statistics, economics, labor, social policy, and finance. — Editor's Note.
